We had a wonderful experience with Arun and his team!! I had my daughters 1st birthday party in the backyard which included around 150 guests. He even brought a team member to take our guests’ orders so no one had to wait too long and the food was delicious! We truly enjoyed the experience and his options in the different dosa flavors were awesome. I was concerned about the amount of guests but he worked efficiently and in a very calm manner to provide our guests with the BEST! I highly recommend him for your next party!!

Excellent Food. Great experience having them in our backyard. The guest enjoyed the food immensely and found it a very novel experience. We were about 40 of us. It was my daughter’s pre wedding feast. The quality of dosa, Idli and kottu parata was really good and tasted excellent (we are South Indians and we know when a dosa or idli is good, since we make it at home all the time). Overall a very pleasing experience.. Will definitely have them back next time we have a get together. I would highly recommend them!!

We had a diwali party for about 45 guests in our driveway. There were more than 15 varieties of dosa and appetizers. Arun also made mini uttapams as appetizer. All the dosa varieties and appetizer were a hit and everyone enjoyed the food including kids. Arun and his staff were friendly and extremely calm and didn't rush atall. I would strongly recommend him for live dosa party. Only recommendation would be to have more choices for dessert to pick from and also some drink options like tea/coffee or lassi. But overall was a great experience.

They went above and beyond our expectations and myself being in the catering biz for 26 years would highly recommend their services for any of your catered events when looking for this type of cuisine. We were planning to throw a block party and were looking for recommendation. we happened to talk to a friend who referred us to Arun's Roattu Kada. It was a 50 people party, So we were apprehensive as how they will manage a live dosa station for 50 people and we wanted it to be pure vegetarian (not even egg) Arun came in and setup the station an hour before the start. People started trickling in at 11:30 but soon they were pouring. Arun handled them with ease. Dosa's were yummy. People were indulging in plain dosa, podi dosa, masala dosa, mysore masala dosa, cheese dosa. They were able to eat idlys, when they were waiting for fresh and hot dosas. Sambar and 3 different varieties of chutney was the pinnacle. For dessert they even had chocolate dosas. Icing on the cake was live preparation of kotthu porata. People really enjoyed the showmanship. Roattu Kada might be a new journey for Arun, but be assured you will not be disappointed by the taste and showmanship from Arun. Great job! We are already planning to use Arun for our next party!

We had a large crowd for the party, very well managed on everyone's order and expectation. Kids loved the real time making of Gee, Chat and Chocolate Dosa varieties. If you want to focus only on guests and spending time with them instead of planning and preparing food for them, I would strongly recommend Roattu Kada for having good time with your family and friends

Excellent tasting Dosa's. They have a variety of dosa including chili podi, chocolate, Masala, Ghee etc. But Cheese/ jalapeno was my favorite. The quality of dosa batter/Sambar/Chutneys were really fresh and homemade. Special mention to mint chutney and tomato chutney. It was very good. The service was good, though the party was crowded with adults and kids, the owner had it all organized by taking orders with names and delivered it quickly. There are also specials towards the end. If there is leftover chicken curry or eggs, they make a special dosa which is too good. Finally if there is left over batter, the owner makes to-go uthappams for the party guests which was really appreciated. It's a must try if you have a backyard party or a park get-together and do not need to worry about the food planning part

Preparing delicacies is a skill and serving is a different skill! To have both of this combined with consistency across the 35 head count for hours together is well beyond norm! Kudos and request his info to share with my other contacts!

Feedback for food:

Food was really so delicious. Very different and very tasty. Sambar was awesome, quantity could have been more. But no complaints. Chutneys were good. Idli and dosas very tasty. Kuthu parota SUPER👌

We as a group had never tried this, but i think we may go with more of this in the summer get together
